Well drat those mermaids anyway! What a clever "happening" you've created at seaside. I love it!
I suppose the girl with the umbrella is jealous. Maybe the sailor is her boyfriend. Maybe he is cheating on her with the mermaid. What a bad boy! Hope everything is well at your end, my friend!
